The committee at “School of Advanced Technologies in Medicine” is started in 2012 and its main target is in accordance with goals of student research committee (learning research) with more emphasis on multi/inter disciplinary research, due to scope of school. For this purpose, different interdisciplinary lectures and workshops are being held and specially designed activities like multidisciplinary challenges organized.
This challenge is designed to collect contribution of multidisciplinary researchers in developing mobile applications for health improvement. Five main subgroups are already available & student may select to take part in each subgroup to contribute in different tasks like data collection, medical consultation, image & signal processing, mobile app development, graphic design, etc. The main goal is providing the opportunity of “team work” for students with medical background & engineering background.
You may read about subgroups & if you are interested in participating, please upload a CV .This stage of challenge doesn’t need any particular activity & you only send a CV & explain your interest in one of the subgroups. Your CV will be analyzed by supervisors & you will be invited to a meeting. Through the meeting, both you & supervisor will assess possible cooperation & the team members will be selected. The teams are required to write research proposal (to receive grants from Medical Image & Signal Processing Research Center) & to design the mobile applications.
Students with medical background are expected to provide consultation on required & needed process for each project & students with engineering background are expected to develop application according to this design method.
